Eric + Nina's Silver Falls Wedding

When Nina & Eric booked their Silver Falls wedding with us, we couldn't have been more thrilled. Not only had we met Nina a year prior while we were documenting another lovely couple's wedding (hey, Zoie & Sean!), but photographing a wedding in one of Oregon's most beautiful state parks was a dream come true.

Erik and I made a weekend out of it, towing our travel trailer to the state park on Friday night and camping out. Saturday we woke up early and headed to the lodge to meet with the bridal party. Nina and Eric had separate cabins for getting ready, so Erik and I split up to capture the different bridal parties getting ready before we met back up down at Silver Falls for their first look.

While Silver Falls is a busy park, we were fortunate to find a secluded cove overlooking one of the Falls for first look which made for a quiet, romantic setting. My favorite part of their first look was the minute Eric turned around to see his future bride, he instantly twirled her around before hugging her in close. It was a sweet moment between just the two of them that I am so happy we caught.

After finishing up the bridal party photos we all quickly headed back to the lodge for final touch-up's and the ceremony. Nina & Eric were married in a private, forest setting tucked away from the rest of the park grounds. The couple's friend, Jordan, officiated the sweetest ceremony for the two of them before announcing them husband and wife.

The reception took place in the main lodge. It had a rustic feel to it which matched perfectly with their decor, including my favorite part, the Big Foot ice luge. It was a night filled with so much love for the newlyweds, and many amazing toasts made by their bridal party and family.

We couldn't have been more honored to be there to document their wedding day. We wish Nina & Eric a lifetime of love and happiness!
