With wedding season just around the corner, I have been participating in several styled weddings and elopements. This has been a great experience for several reasons, but primarily because of the amazing photographers and talented vendors in the Portland area that I've had the privilege of connecting with. Community over competition is a beautiful thing!
When Carly of Someplace Images posted a mood board for a styled alternative elopement on the beach of Hug Point, I immediately got on board. The style was so fun & different than anything I have done before. Who says wedding dresses have to be white? Carly really made her vision come together with a custom made black tulle gown and feather veil. Devin modeled it perfectly alongside her beautiful wife Jess. The connection between these two is undeniable and I was so thrilled when I found out they would be the ones we would be photographing!
Credit & a huge thank you goes to Erik for driving us through the snow and rain to get there! Several images below are ones taken by Erik - which just goes to show I'm pretty thrilled to have him as the other half of my wedding photography team!
