Lindsay + Kelly's Cape Kiwanda Engagement Session

I’ve am so excited to finally share this blog for Lindsay + Kelly’s engagement session. Not only because it took place at one of Oregon’s most gorgeous locations, but because Lindsay just happens to be my best friend!

I met Lindsay when I was 10 years old. That’s 21 years of friendship ya'll (yes, I just confessed my age). Growing up together, you could say we were inseparable. We've been there for each other through the good times and the bad, and have been a part of each other’s milestones along the way.

She's my person.

When Lindsay met Kelly, I knew she was about to embark on an exciting new chapter in her life. I couldn’t be more thrilled that the two of them are engaged to be married in 2018!

For their engagement session, we ventured to gorgeous Cape Kiwanda on the Oregon Coast and climbed the dune to the top where we were greeted with the stunning cliffs and the ocean as our backdrop. We ventured around barefoot for over an hour capturing the love between these two. Seeing the results from this session made my heart so full… so I am apologizing in advance for the overshare of images. I just couldn’t choose!

Their Story

Lindsay met Kelly at a church function three years ago. They became instant friends, and Lindsay’s son also quickly became connected with Kelly and just adored him. Things were off to a great start! They officially started dating on January 1, 2016 but waited until Valentine’s Day to share the news with family and friends.

In Aprilof 2017, Kelly got down on one knee in front of their church and asked Lindsay for her hand in marriage. Due to meeting in the church, and the church being a huge part of their lives, it was only fitting for him to propose in front of all of the people who have supported them and have watched their relationship grow over the past few years. Lindsay will admit she was completely shocked, and of course she said yes!

These two lovebirds will be exchanging their vows on August 25, 2018 here in Portland, OR and I couldn’t be more thrilled!
