Yesterday was pretty incredible.
It was my 30th birthday, and thanks to my good friend Elizabeth, I was able to spend the day with some of my closest family and friends out at the beautiful Anne Amie Vineyards.
Since it was my birthday, I spent a little more time socializing (and drinking wine) and a little less time behind the camera. My husband being the great guy that he is decided to take over as photographer for the day. After all, you only turn 30 once and he knew I would want some shots to document the occasion.
For those of you who do not know Erik, he has a pretty good eye for photography himself. As a client of mine, you will often find that Erik will accompany me on certain photo shoots to help with set-up and lighting. Behind the scenes he is actively working to design a new website for Aliese Jacobsen Photography, and helps keep everything organized so I can devote my full attention to my clients! We will be photographing a wedding together this July; I look forward to getting him involved!
Here are a few shots that Erik took of yesterdays celebration!
And while he did not take the follow photo, here is the man himself along with one last shot that I took of our little ladies.
Cheers to being 30!
